Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1. Arusha-Tarangire

After breakfast, we will head to Tarangire National Park, known for housing the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Upon entering through the main entrance, we will begin the safari, where we can observe elephants, antelopes, lions, zebras, and many other animals, all in an environment surrounded by the majestic baobab trees.

We will have lunch at the picnic area, and in the evening, we will transfer to Karatu to enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day 2. Lake Eyasi

This morning, we will visit the two native tribes in the Lake Eyasi area. This visit will allow us to meet two tribes that have established a relationship of exchange between them. The Datoga craft metal arrowheads that the Hadzabe use to hunt small antelopes and other animals for food, and in return, they share some of the meat they obtain.

They are a clear example of the interaction between wildlife and humans, living in balance in the 21st century. With them, you will learn how to start a fire, and we may even accompany them on one of their hunts.

After the visit, we will head to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3. Serengeti Central

After breakfast, we will begin our journey to Serengeti National Park, where we will start the safari by exploring the vast plains of the park, home to the famous wildebeest migration and an incredible variety of wildlife.

Throughout the day, we will have the opportunity to observe lions, elephants, zebras, and gazelles in their natural habitat, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.

At sunset, we will settle into our camp or lodge to enjoy a dinner under the stars.

Day 4. North Serengeti

We will wake up early in the morning to begin the safari from the heart of the Serengeti, and then head north, where we will embark on an afternoon tour. Hopefully, we will witness the incredible wildebeest crossing at the river.

We will end the day with dinner and accommodation at Heritage Mobile Tented Camp or a similar camp.

Day 5. North Serengeti

In the morning, we will head to the river, a place where thousands of wildebeests and zebras remain alert, cautiously watching for predators lurking in the area. Meanwhile, powerful crocodiles slowly emerge from the waters, their snouts breaking the surface of the Mara River, ready for the hunt.

We will witness the tense calm in this natural setting, a unique experience that will evoke the feeling of being immersed in one of the most magical wildlife adventures.

As night falls, we will enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in the comfort of Heritage Mobile Tented Camp or a similar camp.

Day 6. Serengeti Central

On our fourth day of safari in Serengeti, we will explore the central and eastern areas of the park, known for their abundant wildlife, especially during the migration. We will have the chance to spot lions, leopards, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras.

Additionally, we offer the option to take a hot air balloon ride at sunrise to enjoy a unique panoramic view of the vast plains and its wildlife. After the flight, we will continue the safari on land, ending the day at the camp or lodge.

Day 7. Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will depart with a picnic lunch towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once there, we will descend into the crater, known as the "Garden of Eden." We will enjoy a safari at the base of the crater, home to the rare black rhinoceros and the "Big Five."

Afterwards, we will have lunch in the picnic area and continue with the safari towards the main exit. We will then return to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8. Karatu-Arusha

After leaving the accommodation in Karatu, we will return to Arusha, but we will make a stop along the way to visit the African Gallery, a unique place where the iconic Eboni tree is located. There, we will have the opportunity to explore and appreciate local art while enjoying the surrounding nature of this special point of interest.

After this stop, we will continue our journey to Arusha, where we will catch the flight to our next destination: Zanzibar.

Day 9-14 Zanzibar

In Zanzibar, you will have the opportunity to enjoy various activities and excursions that will allow you to explore everything this paradise island has to offer. You can relax on its stunning white sand beaches, swim in the crystal-clear waters, and practice snorkeling or diving to discover the vibrant marine life. Additionally, you can embark on a boat tour to spot dolphins or explore nearby islands, such as the famous Spice Island, where you will learn about the rich history of local products.

Don’t miss the visit to Stone Town, with its charming streets full of history, unique architecture, and vibrant markets. You can also enjoy a bike tour through the tropical landscapes or take an excursion to the spice plantations to learn about the local flavors of Zanzibar.
