Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1. Arusha – Tarangire

After breakfast, we will head to Tarangire National Park, known for having the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Upon entering through the main gate, we will begin our safari, where we can observe elephants, antelopes, lions, zebras, and many other animals, all in a landscape surrounded by majestic baobab trees. We will have lunch in the picnic area, and at sunset, we will transfer to Karatu to enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day 2. Lake Eyasi

This morning, we will visit the two native tribes of the Lake Eyasi area. This visit will allow us to learn about two tribes that have established a mutual exchange relationship. The Datoga make metal arrowheads that the Hadzabe use to hunt small antelopes and other animals for food, and in return, the Hadzabe offer them some of the meat they obtain. They are a clear example of the interaction between wildlife and humans living in harmony in the 21st century. With them, you will learn how to make fire, and we may even accompany them on one of their hunts. After the visit, we will head to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3. Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will begin our journey to Serengeti National Park, where we will start our safari exploring the vast plains of the park, home to the famous Great Wildebeest Migration and an incredible variety of wildlife. Throughout the day, we will have the opportunity to observe lions, elephants, zebras, and gazelles in their natural habitat, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. At nightfall, we will settle into our camp or lodge to enjoy dinner under the stars.

Day 4. Serengeti National Park

On our second day of safari in Serengeti, we will explore the central and eastern regions of the park, known for their abundant wildlife, especially during the migration. We will have the chance to spot lions, leopards, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Additionally, we offer the option of a hot air balloon ride at sunrise, providing a unique panoramic view of the vast plains and their wildlife. After the flight, we will continue the safari on land, ending the day at the camp or lodge.

Day 5. Serengeti National Park

This is our day to enjoy to the fullest. We will wake up early in the morning, and as the sun rises in the east, we will witness the animals waking up while the lions do their best to hunt before the hottest hours. We will pack our lunch and prepare for whatever the safari brings us. At dusk, we will return to the lodge to enjoy an outdoor dinner while admiring the sunset.

Day 6. Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will set off with a picnic lunch towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once there, we will descend into the crater, known as the "Garden of Eden." We will enjoy a safari at the crater’s base, home to the rare black rhino and the Big Five. Later, we will have lunch in the picnic area and then continue the safari towards the main exit. Afterward, we will return to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Día 7. Karatu - Arusha

Upon leaving the accommodation in Karatu, we will return to Arusha, but we will make a stop along the way to visit the African Gallery, a unique place where the iconic Eboni tree is located. There, we will explore and appreciate local art while enjoying the surrounding natural beauty. After this stop, we will continue our journey to Arusha, where you can choose to spend a few days relaxing on the paradise beaches of Zanzibar or take your flight back home.
