Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi

Upon arrival at Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the Sensation of Africa guide in Kenya will warmly welcome you on behalf of the entire team. They will then comfortably transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi, where assistance will be provided for check-in. You will spend the night at the hotel, enjoying accommodation and breakfast at the DoubleTree by Hilton or a similar category establishment.

Day 2 Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, our guide will meet you at the hotel, and we will head towards Nakuru Lake National Park. We will arrive by mid-morning and begin the safari, continuing until noon. The park, established in 1968, is famous for hosting one of the largest populations of rhinos in Kenya. Lake Nakuru, which covers a significant portion of the park, is known for its distinctive color due to the Cyanophyta bloom, which attracts large groups of flamingos and pelicans during the high season. At the end of the day, we will enjoy a delicious dinner and stay at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp or a similar camp.

Day 3 Masai Mara National Park

In the morning, after a delicious breakfast, we will head towards the famous Masai Mara National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic destinations. We will arrive at Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp, where we can check-in and enjoy some time to relax before lunch. In the afternoon, we will meet our guide and embark on an exciting safari, exploring the park's rich wildlife. At the end of the day, we will return to the camp to enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night at Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp or a similar category accommodation, surrounded by African nature.

Day 4 Masai Mara National Park

This full day will be dedicated to exploring the Masai Mara National Park, one of the world’s most renowned wildlife reserves. Despite covering only 0.01% of Africa's land surface, Masai Mara is home to more than 25% of the continent's largest mammals. During the morning and afternoon safaris, we will traverse its vast plains, where we will have the opportunity to observe lions, cheetahs, elephants, and a wide variety of other species in their natural habitat. At the end of the day, we will return to the camp to enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night at Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp or similar.

Day 5 Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will head out on a morning safari, enjoying a picnic lunch as we make our way to Isibania, on the border between Kenya and Tanzania. There, we will meet our safari guide from Sensation of Africa in Tanzania. We will continue towards our accommodation in Serengeti, where we will spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool, watching the wildlife in the distance, such as elephants and other species. Dinner and overnight stay at Simba Lodge Serengeti or a similar accommodation. During the safari, we will have the chance to spot iconic Serengeti animals such as lions, zebras, and giraffes.

Day 6 Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will arrive at the Ikoma Gate, from where we will begin our safari into the heart of the Serengeti. Along the way, we will enjoy a picnic lunch and continue exploring the park until we reach our accommodation. The Serengeti is one of the largest and most famous parks in Africa, covering over 14,700 km². It is known for hosting the second-largest mammal migration in the world and is considered one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders, as well as one of the Ten Natural Wonders of the world. At the end of the day, we will enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation at Kati Kati Tented Camp or a similar camp.

Day 7 Serengeti National Park

We will spend the day enjoying morning and afternoon safaris in the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park. We will explore its stunning kopjes and vast plains, where we will witness fascinating scenes: cheetahs hunting at speeds of over 100 km/h, lions in packs or in action, leopards resting in trees, as well as large mammals such as elephants and giraffes. We will also see zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, and a wide variety of birds that inhabit the park. At the end of the day, we will return to the Wildlife Lodge to enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in this cozy accommodation.

Day 8 Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will depart with a picnic lunch towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once there, we will descend into the crater, known as the "Garden of Eden." We will enjoy a safari at the base of the crater, home to the rare black rhinoceros and the Big Five. Afterward, we will have lunch in the picnic area, and then continue with the safari towards the main exit. In the evening, we will return to Karatu for dinner and spend the night at Wildlife Lodge Manyara.

Day 9 Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, we will head to Lake Eyasi for cultural activities, where we will visit the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, which are traditional communities found in Tanzania with a very unique way of life. The indigenous Hadza, known as Hadzabe, are nomadic hunter-gatherers who use bows and arrows. It’s much more than just visiting a tribe… it’s a complete African experience! We will learn about their way of life and much more. In the afternoon, we will enjoy watching flamingos and other water birds as the sun sets over Lake Eyasi. Dinner and accommodation at Ziwani Lodge.

Day 10.Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we will head to Tarangire National Park, known for hosting the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Upon entering through the main gate, we will begin the safari, where we can observe elephants, antelopes, lions, zebras, and many other animals, all in an environment surrounded by majestic baobabs. We will have lunch in the picnic area, and at sunset, we will transfer to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11 Mto wa mbu- Arusha

After leaving the accommodation in Mto wa Mbu, we will head back to Arusha, but we will make a stop along the way to visit the African Gallery, a unique place where the iconic Ebony tree is located. There, we will have the opportunity to explore and appreciate local art while enjoying the nature surrounding this special point of interest. After this stop, we will continue our journey to Arusha, where you can choose to spend a few days relaxing on the paradisiacal beaches of Zanzibar or take the flight back home.
