How much does a safari in Tanzania cost?

Safari prices are difficult to find online, and once you find them, it is hard to compare them from one site to another.

A safari in Tanzania can vary greatly in price. The most affordable option is the “Camping Safari” where you will sleep in tents inside the national parks; this can cost from $198.00 per person per night (the average is $280 per person per night). A luxury safari (“Luxury Tented Camp Safari,” “Lodge Safari,” or “Hotel Safari”) is offered starting from $600 per person per night.

Other costs to consider include personal choice items such as alcoholic beverages or cigarettes, tips for staff, or other things not included as specified in each itinerary.

Budget Safari (Camping Safari)

Accommodation in tents at designated camping areas within the national parks.

Three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are included, prepared by our chefs, served at the table or as a takeaway, and consumed in picnic areas according to the itinerary.

Our guides will always be nearby, and the campsite will always be protected by a park ranger.

“An experience you will never forget.”

Mid-Range Safari (Tented Camp Safari, Lodge, or Hotel Safari)

Mid-range accommodation can vary from basic tented camp lodging with simple tents and slightly more luxurious tents to cabins or hotels.

Meals are offered buffet-style or à la carte. Indian or African dishes are served, along with always delicious fresh fruit from the land.

“Comfort in the heart of nature.”

Luxury Safari

Exclusive and high-end accommodations, ranging from luxury tented camps with first-class amenities to hotels featuring private lounges, private pools, and jacuzzis. Butler service can also be provided.
