Trip Overview

Embark on an 8-day safari to witness the magic of the Great Wildebeest Migration in the Serengeti, an awe-inspiring natural event that takes place between June and September when millions of wildebeest cross the plains in search of fresh pastures, facing the challenges of the savanna while being followed by predators. Additionally, discover Tanzania’s most spectacular landscapes and iconic wildlife in Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater. Get ready for a unique experience that will connect you with the purest essence of nature.

  • Tarangire welcomes you with its majestic baobabs and large herds of elephants, while giraffes, zebras, and predators roam its captivating landscapes.

  • Lake Eyasi, where you will encounter the ancestral traditions of the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes and enjoy unique landscapes in a fascinating cultural setting.

  • Serengeti National Park, where you will witness the thrill of the Great Migration, hear lions roar at dawn, watch cheetahs hunt, and see elephants crossing the endless plains under clear skies.

The Datoga craft metal arrowheads that the Hadzabe use to hunt small antelopes and other animals for food, in exchange for a portion of the meat they obtain. They are a remarkable example of the coexistence between wildlife and humans living in balance in the 21st century. With them, you will learn how to make fire and even have the opportunity to accompany them on a hunt. After the visit, we will head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3. Central Serengeti

Day 5. North Serengeti

In the morning, we will head to the river, a place where thousands of wildebeest and zebras remain on high alert, cautiously watching the predators lurking nearby. Meanwhile, powerful crocodiles slowly emerge from the waters, their snouts breaking the surface of the Mara River, ready to hunt. We will witness the tense stillness of this natural spectacle, a unique experience that will make us feel immersed in one of the most magical journeys of wildlife. As night falls, we will enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in the comfort of Heritage Mobile Tented Camp or a similar camp.

Day 6. Serengeti Central

On our fourth day of safari in Serengeti, we will explore the central and eastern regions of the park, known for their abundant wildlife, especially during the migration.
