After Masai Mara, you’ll travel to Serengeti, one of Tanzania’s most famous parks, where you’ll spend two days enjoying its incredible biodiversity, large animal herds, and endless landscapes. Your next destination will be the Ngorongoro Crater, a spectacular place to spend a day exploring this ancient collapsed volcano, home to impressive wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, and a wide variety of birds. Along the way, you’ll head to Lake Eyasi, where you’ll spend a day learning about the nomadic tribes, like the Hadzabe, living traditionally by hunting and gathering. Next, you’ll visit Tarangire National Park, where you’ll spend a day observing massive herds of elephants and other species that inhabit this ecosystem, famous for its majestic baobab trees.

At the end of your safari, relax for 5 days on the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar. Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1. Nairobi

After being picked up at Nairobi airport, we will begin a tour of Kenya's capital, a vibrant city that blends the modern with the traditional. During the tour, we will visit some of the city's most iconic places, such as the Nairobi National Museum, the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, and Nairobi National Park, where it's possible to see wildlife like giraffes and lions, all within the city. At the end of the tour, we will head to our accommodation to rest and prepare for the next stage of our journey.

Day 2. Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, we will head to Lake Nakuru, one of Kenya's most famous destinations. This lake is known for being home to a large population of flamingos, although it's also possible to spot other animals like rhinoceroses, zebras, and giraffes. Additionally, Nakuru National Park is home to rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes, making it an ideal place to enjoy a safari in its natural surroundings. After the visit, we will transfer to our accommodation to rest and relax after a day full of experiences.

Day 3. Masai Mara National Park

The next day, we will begin our journey at Masai Mara National Park, one of the most famous and spectacular game reserves in Africa. This park is known for its incredible wildlife, including the "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), and is also famous for the Great Migration of wildebeests, which attracts thousands of tourists each year. We will go on a safari through its vast plains, where we will have the opportunity to observe animals in their natural habitat. After a day full of adventures, we will head to our accommodation to rest and enjoy a peaceful night.

Day 4. Masai Mara National Park

On the second day in Masai Mara National Park, we will continue exploring this fascinating ecosystem. In addition to safaris, we will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai village, where we can learn about the culture and traditions of this indigenous community, known for their nomadic lifestyle and colorful clothing. The day will be filled with new experiences, surrounded by the incredible wildlife and landscapes of the Mara. At the end of the day, we will head to our accommodation to relax and enjoy a traditional regional dinner, concluding a day full of emotions and discoveries.

Day 5. North Serengeti

After breakfast, we will begin our journey to Serengeti National Park, where we will start the safari by exploring the vast plains of the park, home to the famous wildebeest migration and an incredible variety of wildlife. During the day, we will have the opportunity to observe lions, elephants, zebras, and gazelles in their natural habitat, surrounded by stunning landscapes. At sunset, we will settle into our camp or lodge to enjoy a dinner under the stars.

Day 6. Serengeti Central

On our second day of safari in Serengeti, we will explore the central and eastern areas of the park, known for their abundant wildlife, especially during the migration. We may spot lions, leopards, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Additionally, we offer the option to take a hot air balloon ride at sunrise for a unique panoramic view of the vast plains and its wildlife. After the flight, we will continue with our land safari, finishing the day at the camp or lodge.

Day 7. Serengeti Central

This is our day to make the most of the experience. We will wake up early in the morning, and as the sun rises from the east, we will witness the animals waking up while the lions do their best to hunt before the hottest hours of the day. We will pack our lunch and prepare for whatever the safari brings us. At sunset, we will return to the lodge to enjoy an outdoor dinner while watching the sunset.

Day 8. Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, bringing a picnic lunch along the way. Once there, we will descend into the crater, known as the "Garden of Eden." We will enjoy a safari at the base of the crater, home to the rare black rhino and the Big Five. Afterward, we will have lunch at the picnic area and continue with the safari towards the main exit. Later, we will return to Karatu for dinner and spend the night.

Day 9. Lake Eyasi

This morning we will visit the two native tribes in the Lake Eyasi area. This visit will allow us to learn about two tribes that have established a trade relationship with each other. The Datoga craft metal pieces for arrows, which the Hadzabe use to hunt small antelopes and other animals for food, and in return, the Hadzabe offer some of the meat they obtain. They are a clear example of the interaction between wildlife and humans living in balance in the 21st century. With them, you will learn how to start a fire, and we may even accompany them on one of their hunts. After the visit, we will head to the lodge for dinner and spend the night.

Day 10. Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we will head to Tarangire National Park, known for housing the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Upon entering through the main entrance, we will begin our safari, where we can observe elephants, antelopes, lions, zebras, and many other animals, all surrounded by the imposing baobab trees. We will have lunch in the picnic area, and in the evening, we will travel to Mto wa Mbu to enjoy dinner and spend the night.

Day 11. Mto wa mbu - Arusha

Upon leaving the accommodation in Mto wa Mbu, we will return to Arusha, but we will make a stop along the way to visit the African Gallery, a unique place where the iconic Eboni tree is located. There, we can explore and appreciate local art while enjoying the nature surrounding this special point of interest. After this stop, we will continue our journey to Arusha, where we will catch the flight to our next destination: Zanzibar.

Day 12-15 Zanzibar

In Zanzibar, you will have the opportunity to enjoy various activities and excursions that will allow you to explore everything this paradise island has to offer. You can relax on its stunning white sand beaches, swim in the crystal-clear waters, and practice snorkeling or diving to discover the vibrant marine life. Additionally, you can embark on a boat trip to spot dolphins or explore nearby islands, such as the famous Spice Island, where you will learn about the rich history of local products. Don’t miss a visit to Stone Town, with its charming streets full of history, unique architecture, and vibrant markets. You can also enjoy a bike tour through the tropical landscapes or take an excursion to the spice plantations to learn about Zanzibar’s native flavors.

Day 16 Return Flight

On the last day, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel, surrounded by the views that defined your journey. You will have time to relax or do some shopping before heading to the airport. There, you will take your flight back home, with unforgettable memories of your safari in Tanzania and the paradise beaches of Zanzibar. This unique experience will be etched in your memory forever.
